Pre-season is most certainly underway and we already have a few tournaments and games under our belts. We have had a mixture of results so far, as to be expected at this time of year.  However things are definitely on the right track as proved last weekend at our own tournament - Dunfermline Ladies 1st X1 successfully retaining the title.

This season has not seen many changes and all the old faces remain. Thankfully the youths are starting to make their mark and some are successfully challenging for 1st X1 places....  those oldies better watch their backs.

This season also sees a new coach for the team. Gordon Ritson, a former member of the club who had to retire through injury, has taken up the role. Although Gordon hasn't coached before he has played at a high level for a good few years and we are very excited that he has chosen to start his coaching career with us.

This year we will again be aiming for the top half of the table. With 4th and 5th places in the previous two seasons I would like to see us take the next step and challenge the top two teams - not sure we are quite ready for National 1 but let's see how close we can get.
