The club has a very active and extensive youth hockey programme with coaching sessions available for ages 8 to 18 in the Dunfermline and West Fife area. Our aim is to provide opportunities for youths to take part in an exciting and skilful team sport.

Our youth coaches carry out coaching in local schools and at twice weekly community sessions run in partnership with Dunfermline and West Fife Sports Council. From these coaching sessions youths enter the club’s youth teams at U12, U14, U16 & U18 levels.

From the age of 14 we also invite youths to take part in the club’s youth development team which is composed of experienced adults including some of the youth coaches and youth players. This team plays against similarly composed teams in the Edinburgh area of the East District League.

We have a number of experienced youth coaches and all have the full Disclosure Scotland Certification. In addition the club has a Child and vulnerable Adult Policy with nominated protection officers.
